Client: Hawk Access — a Perth-based specialist in door automation and high-quality door hardware for residential, commercial & aged-care sectors. Hawk Access+1
My Role: Web Developer + Content & Local SEO Specialist
Time Frame: (almost 6 months)
Hawk Access needed a website that clearly communicated their expertise in door automation, hardware supply, and service across various sectors including NDIS/aged-care. The website needed to reflect their technical professionalism, broad service range (automatic sliding doors, maglev doors, door hardware, etc) and local presence in Perth. Hawk Access+1
Key issues to address included:
Articulating the diverse service offering: door automation (sliding, swing, maglev), door hardware (interior/exterior accessories) and sector focus (disability/aged care).
Conveying trust and technical expertise: decades of experience, quality workmanship, compliance with accessibility standards.
Improving local SEO and service visibility for Perth and surrounding regions so that clients searching for “door automation Perth” or “commercial door hardware Perth” find Hawk Access.
Ensuring the website UI is professional and reflects the high-end technical nature of the service (industrial/ commercial installations) rather than just a basic small business site.
To meet these needs, I:
Developed a responsive, clean website design using strong visuals of automated doors and hardware to reflect the brand’s technical service offering.
Structured the site with dedicated service pages for each major area: Door Automation Services, Interior/Exterior Door Hardware, Disability & Aged Care Solutions. This helped both user navigation and SEO clarity.
Crafted copy for each service area emphasising key brand strengths: “Over 30 years of door automation solutions”, “specialist in NDIS & aged-care access systems”, “premium door hardware solutions in Perth”.
Implemented on-page SEO: optimized title tags, meta descriptions and headings with keywords like “door automation Perth”, “automatic sliding doors Perth”, “door hardware Perth” to improve local discoverability.
Added prominent conversion elements: contact phone number in header, “Get Your Quotation” form, clear service call-outs so visitors can quickly understand offerings and take action.
The website now effectively presents Hawk Access as a specialist technical service provider in door automation and hardware, rather than a general hardware shop.
Potential clients can quickly identify the range of services (automation, hardware, disability/aged care) and navigate to relevant information.
With improved structure and targeted content, the site is better positioned to rank for local keywords and attract relevant leads in the Perth market.
Conclusion:
This project demonstrates how combining web-development, structured service-content and local SEO can elevate a technical service business’s online presence — making it more professional, discoverable and conversion-ready.
If you’re looking to create or upgrade a website for your commercial/industrial service business, I’d be glad to assist.
